Goodbye Blogger...

I Moved!
Click HERE for my new blog!

Hi guys. Welcome to my very last post on this blog. 😢 I can't believe I've used Blogger for a whole two years, and now I'm moving to WordPress. I feel like it happened so fast, though I've been thinking about it for a few months. This post is just kind of a goodbye post to Blogger and an explanation of why I'm leaving it and moving my blog. So let's get into it!

Why I'm leaving:

I've never had any problems with Blogger. I really love it in fact. But...the more I've learned about blogging through the past couple of years, and through the more bloggers I've met, I've noticed they all seem to prefer WordPress.

I'm not sure exactly why other than it looks more professional and is easier to follow and connect with other bloggers and readers. But, the WordPress blogs I saw, the more I started to feel like if I didn't switch to WordPress eventually, then I would sort of get left in the dust. Which is sad, I know, and may not be entirely true, but I've kind of already felt that way for a long time. Like pretty much ever since I started blogging.

So, I decided if I wanted to keep growing this blog slowly but surely so it can be the best that I want it to be, then moving to WordPress was probably a step in the right direction. This feels a little weirdly spontaneous for me, but I hope I made the right choice.

I'm starting off with a free plan like I did with Blogger, and I'm not sure If I will ever go self-hosted or be able to, but for now I'm happy with this small but significant step. I like the look of WordPress and I hope that you will like the way I designed my new blog! I'm a little sad about closing this chapter on Blogger but I'm excited to move forward!

 Changes to expect:

Don't worry, there won't be anything too drastic. I wanted this to still be the same blog, just Idk, improved! So The Frozen Book Blog 2.0! 😂

Other than moving sites, the only other big(ish) change will be the title. I decided to call it The Frozen Library, so it's only slightly different. I realized The Frozen Book Blog was kinda lame and self-explanatory. I mean, yeah, it's a book blog. It's kind of obvious. 😂

Other than that, I want to improve my graphics and formatting little bit, which I think WordPress will be a little helpful with...I hope. 😂

I also want to have a few new kinds of posts that I haven't done, but I will talk more about that in my intro post on my new blog! 😄

What's staying the same:

I'm still thinking of this as the same blog instead of a completely new one, so even though it's March, I'm still counting January 28th, 2017 as my anniversary.

Other than what I mentioned above with the title and moving to WordPress, pretty much everything will be the same. Like I said, it's just The Frozen Book Blog, new and improved! 😊

Unfortunately, this all means that you'd have to resubscribe to my "new" blog, but if you already have WordPress, you can add me on there now! (Oh my goodness I'm actually going to be a part of the WordPress community now I can't believe it! 😱)

I'm in the process of updating all of my social media to my new blog, but so far I don't think you'll have to do anything with that. If I end up having to make new accounts to link to The Frozen Library, I'll let you know on my new blog so you can find me again!

Okay, hopefully at the top I've made it obvious enough how to get to my new site, but just in case, here it is AGAIN! 😄

Okay, I think that's all I have to say. Except...Goodbye Blogger! Thank you for helping me get my baby blog off the ground!
Now...on to WordPress! See you There! ♡
(Psst, I also just find it satisfying that this is my 185th post. That just feels like a satisfying number to end on. 😂)

  1. AHHHHHH! I'm so very excited for you to join the WordPress community! Your new blog is lovely and I followed and can't wait to read more posts on there in the future! :D
