Bookending Winter #4: 12 Days of Christmas Tag!

Hey fellow book nerds! For Bookending Winter #4, I'm doing the 12 Days of Christmas Tag, created by Lizzie @ Lizzie Loves Books! 😀

A Partridge in a pear tree: Favorite Stand-Alone Book?

A Thousand Perfect Notes

I don't know if I have a favorite standalone ever, but this is one of my favorites from this year! 😊

Two Turtle Doves: Fictional OTP/Favorite Ship?

Steelheart (Reckoners, #1)

If you know me, you would know that I'm not much of a fan of romance, but there are a few couples that I've actually liked, and I think I would definitely say that Megan and David are my OTP. I just love them so much!

Three French Hens: Favorite Trilogy?

The Hunger Games (The Hunger Games, #1) Catching Fire (The Hunger Games, #2) Mockingjay (The Hunger Games, #3)

Probably the Hunger Games. It was the first fandom I've been a part of, and it led me to reading more YA and eventually starting this blog, so it will always hold a special place in my heart. 😊

Four Calling Birds: Favorite Fictional Creature?

I don't know...I'm not usually really into fictional creatures, but I've always thought that mermaids were cool?

Five Golden Rings: Show 5 Golden Books

The 5th Wave (The 5th Wave, #1) Beauty and the Beast: Lost in a Book

The Sound Before I Fall A Whole New World (A Twisted Tale #1)

Here are some gold-ish books out of the ones I've actually read. 😊

Six Geese a Laying: Rotten egg-What's your least favorite book?

The Sound

Ugh, this one was PRETTY BAD. 😩

Seven Swans a Swimming: Show a Book with Water on the Cover

 The Water Wars

I read this a few years before I started blogging, and though the ending was a little disappointing, it was pretty good, and the cover is so cool! I really like how her eyelashes turn into water.

Eight Maids a Milking: What fictional food do you wish you could taste?

Well I don't know of any books I've read that had any food that was magical or anything so I couldn't get it in real life, but for the sake of this question I'll go with Dauntless' cake from Divergent...because chocolate. 😋

Nine Ladies Dancing: Favorite dance between two characters?

I can't really think of any dancing scenes that I like. 😁

Ten Lords a Leaping: Favorite Book-To-Movie-Adaptation?

Out of books I've actually read, The Hunger Games is definitely the best!

Oh, and of course the 2003 Peter Pan! That will always be the best Peter Pan movie version that there will ever be. 😄

Eleven Pipers Piping: Favorite Book-To-Movie-Adaptation Soundtrack?

I also love the scores to Peter Pan and all of the Hunger Games movies. 😉

Twelve Drummers Drumming: It's the end of the song; what's your favorite book ending?

 A Thousand Perfect Notes

Here's one. 😊

"I'm sorry it's not perfect though," Beck says. "I totally made mistakes-"
"Oh stop it. You are worth more than a thousand perfect notes."
And finally, his hands stop trembling.
