Hey! Welcome to my last review of the year, Breadcrumbs, a retelling of the Snow Queen that I read for the December book of The Second Star Society! This story really touched my heart, and I can't wait to share it with you guys. 😊
Hey guys! For my final Bookending Winter post, (I was going to do 12 posts, for the 12 days of Christmas, but one of the things I was going to do for a post didn't work out, so now it's 11. 😂) I'm doing the Hopeful New Years prompt by Amy @ The Little Book Nerds in the Corner, where we list the books we would like to finish before the clock strikes midnight on the 31st! And for me, this is definitely hopeful, because as of this post, I still have to finish like 5 books I'm only a quarter way through of, and 3 of them are practically 500+ pages. 😬 What have I gotten myself into? Especially since 2018 has been the year of The Great Reading Slump. 😂 I really hope next year will be better...
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Today for BW #10 I am doing the awesome Christmas Dinner Tag created by Sam @ Fictionally Sam! This was a really unique tag and it looks fun, so I'm excited to answer questions! 😄🎄😄🎄😄🎄
Hey book nerds! Today I am doing the prompt provided by Sam @ Fictionally Sam, The Grinch Who Stole Books! The idea is that we list books we wish we could steal, like pretty books, rare editions, collectors' editions, or even a story idea from an author! I am SO excited about this prompt cuz I know it'll be so fun, and I have a bunch of collectors' editions in mind that have been on my wish list for a while, so let's go! 😄
Merry almost Christmas guys! I can't believe it's only in a few days! (Which means I'm turning 21 in only a couple weeks! 😱) But for BW #8, I decided to try and write my own bookish version of The Night Before Christmas by Clement Clarke Moore! It's definitely not perfect, but I tried to weave in as many well-known fandoms of books I've actually read as I could, and I think it actually turned out pretty cute! So, without further ado...
Hi book nerds! Today's prompt is provided by the amazing Camilla @ The Reader in the Attic, who hails from Italy! Her prompt is all about a bookish version of the Christmas Cenone, or Christmas Dinner. 😉 Basically what you do is pretend you are throwing a Christmas dinner party and invite characters from the last three books you read! This sounds like so much fun, so let's go!
Hey guys! For BW #6 today, I am going to give you a tour of the notebooks I use to get my thoughts down on the books I read this year! You can find the post about the one I used last year here. 😊
Today's prompt is provided by Imogen @ Imogen's Typewriter, and for it we will be taking a look at our TBRs that we want to get to around Christmas! Since I kind of already talked about it in my November Wrap Up, I thought I would just use this as a chance to update you on my progress for Amy's Christmas Readathon, since the TBR is the same anyway. 😊
Hi Book Bloggians! 😄 This year I decided to join The Broke and The Bookish's 9th Annual Secret Santa, an online Secret Santa where we fill out a form and are paired up with someone we've never met and get to go shopping for them to send them books and all kinds of fun gifts based on their preferences! This has been SO FUN, so today for my third BW post, I'm showing you my box I put together for my secret santee! (Santee? Is that even a word? 😂)
Hey guys! Happy Bookending Winter! This is basically Clo and Sam's version of Blogmas, which is running from December 1-31. I am starting my posts today, and posting every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday up until Christmas Eve, and then I will also have one on Christmas Day, and the Thursday after Christmas for a New Year's prompt by Amy! So today for Bookending Winter #1, I am giving you a tour of my Christmas-decorated bedroom! 😄
Hi! Sorry this post is a little late again but it's been a crazy weekend. WOW November flew by, but what else is new? 😂 But I'm excited for Christmas to come! Now let's see what I did this last month...
