The Mystery Blogger Award

Hey fellow book nerds! I was nominated for The Mystery Blogger Award created by Maggie @ Okoto Enigmas Blog by Amy @ The Little Book Nerds in the Corner! I think this is the very first Blogger Award that I have been Nominated for so I am so touched that Amy thought of me so thank you so much! I'm excited to get into it, so let's go! πŸ˜„

The Rules:

1. Put the award logo on your blog.

 2. List the rules.

3. Thank whoever nominated you and include a link to their blog.

4. Mention the creator of the award and provide a link to their blog as well.

5. Tell your readers three things about yourself.
6. Nominate 10-20 people.
7. Notify your nominees.
8. Ask your nominees any five questions of your choice, specifying one weird/funny question.
9. Share a link to your best post(s).

Three Things:

1. The Broadway soundtracks to Anastasia and Frozen are like all I have been listening to for the past few months. That and Disney of course.😊

2. I am kind of thinking about maybe getting a cat one day.
3. And I have fallen in love with Starbucks but I feel weird about admitting it because I don't want to be one of "those girls." I'm actually writing this post in a Starbucks right now. πŸ˜‚

Kinda random I know, but that's what came to my head. 😳

Amy's Questions:

What 3 books would you like to try and read over the next few years? These can be anticipated reads or books you have been meaning to get to.

There are SO MANY popular ones that I've seen on everybody else's blogs that I haven't read that I really want to. I'm just gonna scroll through my Goodreads and randomly pick some hyped up-ish ones that I don't own yet:

Okay here they are:

Replica (Replica, #1)The Thousandth Floor (The Thousandth Floor, #1)The Unexpected Everything

Which 5 books are you most thankful for you have read?

The Hunger Games (The Hunger Games, #1)Peter Pan: The Original StorySnow Like Ashes (Snow Like Ashes, #1)

The Mother-Daughter Book Club (The Mother-Daughter Book Club, #1)Uprising

What are your favorite top 5 books of all time?

UGGGHH This is so hard to choose! I'm just going to list ones that hold a special place in my heart. Idk if they would be my top 5 of all time though, that's too much pressure!

Steelheart (Reckoners, #1)Uprising The Hunger Games (The Hunger Games, #1)

Ice Like Fire (Snow Like Ashes, #2)United We Spy (Gallagher Girls, #6)

What book do you remember being the first book you loved reading?

Peter Pan: The Original Story

Probably this one. It's the movie tie in for the 2003 Universal movie, which is my favorite version ever. I've said before when I was in elementary school I read it so many times that the spine cracked and ripped completely in half and I had to keep it together with electrical tape! πŸ˜‚

If you had to tell the story of your life in five songs, which songs would you choose?

Oh this is going to be hard...

1. Okay don't laugh at me, but number one would definitely be Let it Go from Frozen. I know a lot of people are so over it by now, but I loved this song because I immediately saw the deeper meaning of Elsa's ice powers basically being a metaphor for depression and/or anxiety, or really just mental illness in general, and 15 year old me just made this my anthem pretty much and I still stand by it today. It's still one of my favorite songs, and I also love Monster from the Broadway version for the same reason.

2. Beauty from Pain by Superchick. This was my theme song when I was like 12-13 when I was still going through the emotional aftermath of my parents rough divorce when I was 10.

3. Little Toy Guns by Carrie Underwood. This song didn't come out until way later, but when I heard it for the first time I thought totally described what I was going through with the divorce when I was little.

4. The Sun is Rising by Britt Nicole. This one just covers life in general I guess.

5. And just anything Disney because I love Disney and I feel like this list is getting too depressing and I'm sorry. πŸ˜‚

Well I can only come up with about 7, so here they are:

1. May @ Forever and Everly
2. ilsa @ A Whisper of Ink
3. Analee @ Book Snacks
4. Kat @ Life and Other Disasters
5. Cait @ Paper Fury
6. Kellyn @ Reveries
7. Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl

1. How much do other blogger's reviews of a certain book influence your own opinion of it?

2.Who would you want to play the main character of your favorite book if it ever became a movie?

3. What's your favorite book to read in the summer?

4. If you could trade lives for a day with one fictional character, who would it be?

5. If you could get amnesia and read any book again like it was the first time, which book would it be?

And the rules say to leave a link to my best post, and this was at the top of my popular posts section, so I guess it's this one. πŸ˜‚

Thank you so much again to Amy for nominating me! πŸ˜„ And if you want to answer my questions or the ones Amy gave me for fun, go for it!

I will be back this Saturday with my April Wrap Up post! See you then!
