I'm so so so sad that this is the last Beautiful People for a while! I wish I found Cait's blog so much sooner than only a year ago because then I would have been able to participate in it more, but oh well it was fun while it lasted. 😞

And with that said, here are my answers to the very last (that we know of) Beautiful People questions. 😢
Favorite genre to write in?
Contemporary, but I am trying to practice with fantasy, and eventually I would want to try to do all kinds of fiction except for probably horror or romance, so basically what I like to read.
What book (a real actual published book!) do you think your character would benefit from reading?
I read this last year, and it really helped inspire me and understand how to write Evalyn's story better because of some similarities, and because of those similarities maybe it could benefit Evalyn by seeing how Aubrey got through the most tragic time in her life? Ooor, maybe just make her more depressed, idk? 😂
Favorite piece of dialogue you’ve written?
Well, I quickly went through my notes and I found this quote I wrote down for a YA series about teenage pirates I want to write someday. The captain and his first mate will have like a brother sister relationship, and at some point the first mate, after doing something mischievous to her brother at some point, would say something like this:
"In addiction to being a cutthroat pirate, I also excel at being an annoyance." 😂
What did your character want to be when they grew up, and what did they actually become?
Evalyn wanted to be a ballerina probably, but then grew up to be a writer and a book blogger, just like me! 😊
Favorite character name(s)?
These are some names off the top of my head that I have always liked: Elody, Serenity, Ariadne, Cordelia, Mirai, Emma, and Piper.
What makes your character feel loved, and who was the last person to make them feel that way?
Evalyn would really feel loved whenever someone really makes an effort to show that they care about her, and the last person to make her feel that way was probably her Aunt or her cousin Xavier.
Favorite character you’ve ever written?
Evalyn Hollman, because she is very closely based on me. 😊
If your character were permanently leaving town, what would they easily throw out? What would they refuse to part with? (Why?)
It would probably be easier for Evalyn to get rid of material things like some of her clothes, especially if she had no use for them wherever she was going, like to a different climate or something. But she would refuse to get rid of any of her books or any sentimental things like childhood stuffed animals, photos or knick knacks, for obvious reasons.
Favorite tropes to write!
Uhhhh, I don't know if I write any tropes, or if I have, I haven't noticed. 😂
Which story has your heart and won’t let go?
Well if it's one I'm writing, than Evalyn's story. She is so closely based on me and that makes it very close to my heart. I have literally not gone even one day without thinking about something related to it for about 6 years now. Probably shows I should actually buckle down and work more seriously on it! 😂
Favorite relationship between characters you’ve written?
I really like the brother sister relationship between Evalyn and Xavier. Growing up as an only child I have always wanted an older brother for some reason, so this is me living through my characters. 😂
Toni Morrison once said, “If there’s a book that you want to read, but it hasn’t been written yet, then you must write it.” What are the books that you want to see more of, and what “holes” do you think need filling in the literary world?
Ummm, I should probably give a more serious answer for this, but I don't think I have read enough books in general yet to judge accurately enough. 😂 But I have heard it is hard to find YA books about pirates, (until recently at least) and Daughter of the Pirate King by Tricia Levenseller inspired me, so I think that that would be fun to write.
Favorite Pinterest board / aesthetic for a book?
Well, most of my Pinterest boards are pretty messy, but I guess I like this one I made for a world within my fantasy series I'm working on world-building at the moment. It was originally inspired by the Neverland Indians in the 2015 movie, Pan. 😊
Favorite time periods & settings to work with?
Well if I ever get to write historical fiction, I think I would want to write it in WWll era or set on The Titanic the most. Those have always been the most fascinating to me. Which now I realize sounds kinda morbid. 😳😂
When people are done reading your book, what feeling do you want them to come away with?
Uh, well when I finally finish Evalyn's story someday, I want the main theme to be about the love between family and friends and mental health. When they read it I want people struggling with mental health or anything really to know that they are not alone and that there are other people out there like them. And I also want everyone to be more aware that you don't know everything that someone has been through so just be kind to people and imagine what it's like to be in their shoes. 😊
