The Mushy Gushy Tag

Hey Book Bloggians! Today I have a Valentines' Day tag for you, called the Mushy Gushy Tag, created by Hannah at SimplyABookLover! 😊 I think I have a couple of good answers* to these fun questions, so let's get into it!

*Sorry about the random blue text again. I don't know why it keeps doing that. 😕

A book with pink, red, and white on the cover:

Pies & Prejudice (The Mother-Daughter Book Club, #4)

Okay, it's still mostly pink, but close enough? This one was hard.

A book with the best pickup line:

Firefight (The Reckoners, #2)

"You're like a potato!" 😂😂😂

I love this quote so much. David is such a dork and he was nervous so this is the best he could come up with. I just think it's hilarious and awesome and really shows his character with another example at how bad he is at metaphors. 😜

Chocolate Covered Strawberries:

 Favorite book couple:

Firefight (The Reckoners, #2)

Megan and David are definitely the only ship I actually care about. If they don't end up together in the end of the series, I'll actually be mad about it. 😂 They are definitely my OTP.

Most romantic book couple:

Shattered (Alaskan Courage, #2)

I don't really like romance, so it was hard to pick one for this. I don't know if Piper and Landon are the most romantic couple I've ever read about, but I think they're pretty cute together, even if their relationships moved a little too fast towards the ends in my opinion.

Teddy Bear:

A book that makes you want to snuggle with someone:

Before I Fall

Okay well...this doesn't make me want to snuggle with someone in the way this question is obviously suggesting, but it made me want to hug my mom cuz it definitely makes you realize that life is short and anything can happen. 😢

Candle Light Dinner:

A book that you'd take out on a date:

Rogue Wave (Waterfire Saga, #2)

Uhhhhh...I've never been on a date, but I probably wouldn't take a book on one 'cuz that would be rude, but this is one I'm just kinda taking everywhere because it's one I'm currently reading? 😂

Best book for single people:

Island of the Blue Dolphins

Um...well this is about a girl...that gets stranded on an island...alone...for 18 years...so...perfect! 😂

Well that's it for this post! I hope you enjoyed it and I hope you have a great Valentine's Day! (Or Galentine's Day as I hear people are doing.) 💘

And don't forget! You still have 5 days left for my blog's 1st birthday giveaway! You can enter it here! 😊

I'll see you on Saturday with a (very late) January wrap-up post! Byeeeee! 😄
