Hello my fellow book nerds! Today I am reviewing the Peter Pan retelling I read for my online Book Club, The Second Star Society. I really enjoyed this book; it filled me with all kinds of nostalgia and I can't wait to share my thoughts, so let's get into it!

Hello fellow book nerds! Yesterday, the 28th, was my blog's first birthday! Can you believe it's already a year old? Where has the time gone?! 😱
(I planned to have this post go up on Saturday, but for some reason this weekend I had trouble focusing and getting anything done and I ended up being unexpectedly busy and I spent the night at my friends' house to celebrate her birthday, and life just was not cooperating with me apparently, so I was exhausted. 😴)
Anyway, to celebrate, I decided to do The Birthstone Book Tag, created by Jay @ The Awkward Bookworm!
Aaaaannnnndd.....SOMETHING REALLY EXCITING FOR ALL OF YOU, A GIVEAWAY! I've never hosted a giveaway before and I'm really excited, so stay tuned for details at the end of this post!😄😄😄

Hey Book Bloggians! Last Wednesday was my 20th birthday, (I know, I feel so old. 😂😱) And I was having trouble deciding what I wanted to do, and then it hit me: I could be a Book Fairy! I found this idea I think about a year ago, (I don't exactly remember when or where) I heard of this website called The Book Fairies, where they encourage people to hide books in public places for people to find and read! That sounded like SO much fun, and I thought it would be even more fun to do it for my birthday with a couple friends and decorate the books with ribbon and washi tape!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I'm sorry this post is late, I meant to post it two days ago, but it took a lot longer to set this up and also I was busy with life. 😞 I know, I'm sorry I really need to get better at planning my posts ahead of time and staying consistent. That's one of my New Year's resolutions! So I promise this year I will be better!
Anyway, I heard of this tag called The Bookish Academy Awards, created by BOOKadoodles. It's like you have a little award ceremony for all the books that you have read throughout the year, inspired by The Oscars! Technically, you are supposed to do this around the Oscar season, but I thought this would be easier for me to do during the calendar year so I can keep track of all my books I read "that" year.
